Our Process

We source all of the wood we use locally and sustainably. We can also use reclaimed wood if you have something you would like us to use. Each custom wood sign is one of a kind, and ACS owner and master craftsman Chris Stadler will use various techniques to achieve the look you want. These can include carving, millwork, wood burning, painting, distressing, and more.

For smaller items like custom wood signs and wooden flags, you can pick them up at our custom woodworking shop in Berkely Springs, WV if you are in the area. We’re convenient to the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, as well as Winchester, Virginia; and Frederick County, Maryland. We can also ship your wood sign to your home or business.
